Troop 27 of Fox Island, WA is a 'High Adventure' youth group, committed to pursuing one or more outdoor adventures each month.  Boys aged 11 to 17 are eligible to join.

Troop 27 serves the Fox Island and southern Gig Harbor areas, covering the Voyager, Artondale and Kopachuck School Districts.

New Unit Bell rings for Troop 27

As of November 29, 2007, BSA Troop 27 was officially activated!  With the ringing of the "New Unit" bell at 6:30 PM at Scout Headquarters in Tacoma, Troop 27 was born.

Scoutmaster John Ohlson submitted the Troop Charter paperwork, and our first meeting of the charter members was held on December 11, 2007 at the Nichols Community Center on Fox Island.
