Fox Island Tree Lighting Ceremony

Join your Island neighbors and friends for a festive evening of fun! Sing carols around the bonfire provided by our Scouts, meet our tree lighter, visit with Santa Claus, and listen to the annual Christmas concert. Bring a few logs for our outdoor bonfire.

Scouts will arrive at 5:00 PM to build the bonfire, with caroling starting at 6:00 PM, followed by Santa's visit shortly thereafter.

This event will earn the Scouts 2 service project hours.

T-27 - Canoe - Kayak Trip

This will be a canoe and kayak day trip.

The plan is to canoe and kayak from the Sandspit near the Fox Island bridge up to Kopachuck State Park, have lunch, and then return to the Sandspit.

T-27-Snow Cave Campout

Scouts will have an opportunity to construct a snow shelter and take a night''s refuge protected from the Pacific Northwest weather!

This event is dependent on weather conditions as it is typical for a minimum of 8 feet of snow needed to build such a shelter.

The conditions now are showing promise for much snow this year! Location to be determined as the event nears.

Overnight campout in Manchester State Park, in Port Orchard.

We will be meeting at the Nichols Center on Saturday at 1:30 p.m and carpooling to the park.  Return time on Sunday is approximately 2:30 PM.

Manchester State Park is a year-round camping park with stunning views of the Puget Sound and an interesting military history, including the historic Torpedo Warehouse.

Activities include hiking, beach exploration, fishing and more.
